What is the recommended way to handle troubleshooting?

I want to do this the supported way rather than hack around it. What is the recommended approach, and are there pitfalls to avoid?

For what it is worth, the same approach works with the PMPro adapter — the membership side is identical from here.

You can pin a topic from its action menu — look for "Pin to top." A space can hold more than one pinned topic; pinned items sort above the rest while keeping their own order.
